Alelo Enskill is an AI-based learning platform that helps improve communication skills. Students practice conversation with AI avatars, and receive feedback and personalized instruction in the areas where they need to improve. This results in improvements in spoken proficiency as well as increased self-confidence.

Universities across Latin America have incorporated Enskill into their blended learning programs. This webinar will summarize best practices and lessons learned from the most successful programs. Findings come from teacher and student reports, as well as longitudinal analysis of learner performance data. We will use as a case study the UVM (Universidad del Valle de México) Toluca Campus, one of the most successful programs using Alelo Enskill. The director of the UVM Toluca Campus program, Erendira Yadira Carrera García, will attend and answer questions.

In this webinar you will learn:

– How to integrate Alelo Enskill with classroom activities
– How to encourage learners to make effective use of Alelo Enskill
– What results to look for when the students are using the platform effectively

Webinar participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

English language learners often get stuck at learning plateaus and fail to progress. This prevents learners from achieving professional or academic levels of English proficiency. This webinar will show how to use Alelo’s Enskill platform to break through the barriers that cause learning plateaus and achieve high levels of spoken proficiency. Alelo’s advances in artificial intelligence (AI) technology make possible avatars that engage learners in spoken conversations at the CEFR B2 proficiency level and above. They provide realistic practice and help learners overcome cognitive and affective barriers to learning. Enskill automatically evaluates learners’ ability to construct coherent arguments and use persuasive language, hallmarks of high proficiency.

Do your students need more opportunities to practice speaking English? Is lack of self-confidence holding them back? This webinar introduces Alelo’s Enskill simulation platform and explains how to use Alelo simulations to help your students develop self-confidence and increase fluency. They complement speaking classes by giving learners opportunities to practice conversations in the language lab and at home. Teachers in Mexico who use Enskill report that their students come to class better prepared, and their classes become much more communicative.

Enskill uses artificial intelligence (AI) to create animated avatars that speak and understand English and engage in task-based conversations with students. The platform automatically tracks learners’ ability to accomplish task objectives and measures conversational fluency. It automatically selects practice exercises for each student based upon their performance, making practice time more efficient. Dashboards show each student’s effort and progress toward mastery.
