Game Programmer [and Interns]

We are looking for game programmers. The ideal candidate has participated in a team of programmers through a full successful commercial game development cycle using a 3D game engine. Programmers without experience in the game industry are expected to provide proof of their skills through an individually developed game demo and code samples.

The candidate should have extensive experience with developing real-time applications in C++ and have experience with and interest in AI and interactive computer graphics. The candidate should have good architecture design skills, the ability to work with and integrate a number of disperse technologies, and flexibility in dealing with new technologies and programming languages. Good communications and leadership skills are important.

This is a full time position. We are also open to interns that can dedicate at least 20/hours a week.

Education and experience requirements:

• 4+ years of overall programming experience, at least 1 year of professional development experience (including internships)
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Fluency in C++ programming and specific experience with 3D game engines.
• Experience with scripting languages (specific experience with Python and/or Unreal Script is a plus).
• Experience in game AI programming is a definite plus.
• Experience with level editing, XML parsing and networking all a plus.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good writing skills, especially in writing designs and task descriptions.
• US citizenship highly preferred, or permanent resident.
